On April 22 and 23, in celebration of the Earth Day, PROYA and its main brand PROYA, as well as the personal care brand Off&Relax, organized activities to promote sustainable lifestyles and philosophies.
PROYA launched the "PROYA x Wuyuzaisheng Cosmetic Bottle Recycling Program", aiming to give empty cosmetic bottles a 'new life' after their contents have been used to rejuvenate users' skin. Those bottles are transformed through processing to become more practical eco-friendly items, noting that the plastic materials used in PROYA's product packaging are all recyclable.
Off&Relax, on the other hand, rolled out the second phase of its recycling initiative titled "Everything Has a Second Life". The campaign encourages consumers to purchase refill packs and reuse shampoo containers, thus giving empty bottles a new lease on life. As part of the campaign, the brand introduced a limited-edition foldable cup symbolizing the ever-lasting vitality of spring, making sustainable lifestyle more accessible.
Raising consumers' awareness of sustainable lifestyle plays an indispensable role in advancing corporate and social practices of sustainable products. The shift in consumer behavior and awareness is vital to achieving a closed-loop of green consumption from the sources to end-users. It not only drives market demand toward more eco-friendly and low-carbon products, but also develops a social value system that prioritizes resource conservation and environmental protection.
In addition, within the company, PROYA organized a series of Earth Day-themed interactive environmental activities under the banner "Earth Day, Let's Act Together!". Those included the "PROYA Cosmetic Bottle Recycling Program", coffee grounds recycling into soap, and partnering program with Nike for Earth Day shoe renewal. Those initiatives encouraged employees to effectively recycle idle cosmetic bottles, coffee grounds, and worn-out sneakers, thereby reducing environmental pollution.
