On this International Women's Day, @PROYA went beyond the theme of #Gender is not the borderline, prejudice is# and specially planned a short film "Like A Girl, Like A Lion" featuring the "Guangzhou Nanxing Hexingtang Lion Dancing All-girl Class", with @WangShuang, a female national team soccer player, doing voice-over and playing a guest role in the film. When the steel rose meets the small girls, the small girls grow into lions, and break through the shackles of prejudice that held them back; finally, they can write their own destiny.
We would like to make a special mention here of the two male coaches who founded the all-girl class - Mr. Yu and Mr. Zhang.
They reinforce our belief that all people, regardless of gender, geography, or profession, can share a common humanity; and we also invite everyone to embrace that common humanity.
Gender is not the borderline, prejudice is.
We will not stop shouting
until we wake up the lion in everyone's heart.
