Patented Technologies Power Our Core Competitiveness
At PROYA, we are in constant pursuit of innovation and excellence every single day. Our core mission is to provide consumers with safe, high-standard, and innovative cosmetic products.
Driven by technological innovation, the Company accumulated 316 inventions as of June 2026, including 313 Chinese invention patents, 25 Chinese utility model patents, and 140 Chinese design patents. For example, we have secured national invention patents for core proprietary technologies, such as a class of bicyclic peptide compounds and their applications and a succinic acid-niacinamide co-crystal, its preparation method, and applications.
We have developed more stringent corporate standards, group standards and industry standards around product quality, product manufacturing safety, raw material testing methods and product efficacy testing to promote the overall quality improvement of the industry, as well as the development of national standards. As of June 2026, we contributed to the publication of 22 national standards, 8 industry standards, and 46 group standards. For example, we contributed to the publication of the Chinese national standard GB/T 45139-2024 Determination of bergapten content in essential oils of bergamot, lemon, bitter orange and lime (fully or partially reduced in bergapten)—High-performance liquid chromatography and the industry standard QB/T 8210-2026 Specification for quality traceability system of daily chemical products to enhance industry-wide product safety and quality.
Alongside innovation in raw materials, products, manufacturing, and testing, we continuously conduct basic science research and share our results through periodic publications. By the end of 2025, we had published 116 scientific papers and academic articles, including 58 in international journals and conferences. Notable publications include "Research Progress on Natural Plant Ingredients in Photoprotection" and "Study on the Synergistic Anti-Aging Effects of a New Morning C and Evening A Combination Serum," both published in Detergent & Cosmetics; and "Biophysical and Microbial Conditions in Dandruff-afflicted Scalp Skin of Chinese Young Consumers , and the Shampoo Solutions to Address the Root Cause from Microbiota Perspective," published in the authoritative Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. Furthermore, PROYA has showcased numerous scientific achievements at the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC). These research results and papers, while reflecting PROYA's leading technological edge and industry foresight, showcase PROYA's innovative ideas and product pursuits to global consumers.
Furthermore, with a groundbreaking mitochondrial anti-aging study titled "Bioactive Compound Discovery for Mitochondrial Enhancement and Skin Aging Prevention: A Deep Learning-Aided Screening," the Company has secured the IFSCC 2025 Top 10 Basic Research Award.
Our Relentless Pursuit of Superior Efficacy and Skin Feel
The core value of skincare lies in delivering healthy, beautiful skin to consumers. Guided by the core principle of "Scientifically Validated, Tangibly Effective," PROYA maintains rigorous safety and efficacy controls throughout the R&D process, ensuring every product delivers both a comfortable experience and visible results. In the final stage of R&D, we first conduct comprehensive safety assessments. Once a product is confirmed risk-free, it undergoes a series of efficacy tests to ensure performance aligns with the original design goals before being approved for launch.
Major Efficacy Evaluation Methods
In vitro testing is a primary method for screening cosmetic ingredients and evaluating the efficacy of active compounds. These methods include physicochemical, biochemical, and cell-based assays, as well as skin model alternatives.
We conduct long-term usage tests with real consumers, using standardized questionnaires to gather self-assessment data and evaluate the product's perceived efficacy.
Under strictly controlled laboratory conditions, we use quantitative methods—including objective instrumental, semi-subjective, and subjective assessments—to measure changes in skin indicators before and after use, providing a scientific evaluation of the product efficacy.
Excellence in Quality Is at the Core of What We Uphold
Our Factory Quality Management Department and Quality Management System Committee regularly organize internal training focused on critical areas such as quality control and production standardization, continuously elevating our quality and safety management standards.
Leveraging a systematic quality management framework, we uphold our commitment to excellence through a comprehensive product lifecycle management system. This covers every stage—from R&D and production to packaging, quality control, and sales—as we strive for superior quality:
Raw Material Management
Material Selection: We meticulously select high-standard raw materials and strictly manage their admission, maintenance, usage, and modification to ensure consistent batch-to-batch quality.
Quality Control: The Testing Center of Proya Cosmetics Co., Ltd. is a CNAS-accredited laboratory. Using advanced international technology and instrumentation, it conducts standardized, scientific testing and evaluation of all raw materials.
Compliance: The R&D and Innovation Center maintains a database for each raw material, continuously synchronizing with regulatory updates from major countries and regions worldwide to ensure standardization and compliance.
Supplier Management
Selection: Supplier screening based on qualifications, quality control, R&D capabilities, and service cooperation;
Audit: On-site supplier audits with multi-dimensional scoring across various scenarios to evaluate overall management standards;
Periodic Evaluation: Regular, detailed assessments of qualified suppliers across multiple dimensions to ensure continued compliance with requirements;
Suppliers must pass comprehensive quality audits to ensure the reliability and traceability of raw and packaging materials, enabling end-to-end quality management from sourcing to market launch.
The supply chain features an SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) system that leverages data sharing and information exchange to create an integrated collaboration platform for suppliers, procurement, production, and logistics. This ensures an efficient, timely, and accurate product supply system to meet evolving market demands across multiple channels. In this way, we can form accurate and efficient quality assurance capabilities from the source.
Packaging Material Management
We strictly control the quality and environmental impact of finished product packaging.
In accordance with the Technical Guidelines for Compatibility Testing and Assessment of Cosmetics with Packaging Materials and T/SHRH 072 Guidelines for Cosmetic and Packaging Materials Compatibility Test and Assessment, we systematically evaluate the compatibility between packaging and formulas to ensure safety, protection, and compatibility throughout the packaging lifecycle.
Our packaging is designed to fully protect products throughout production, storage, transportation, retail, and consumer use. Furthermore, during development, we prioritize sustainable materials that are harmless to human health and the environment, reusable, and recyclable, continuously optimizing packaging to conserve resources and protect the planet.
Finished Product Management
Key quality control stages include raw material safety reviews, standard-setting, formulation stability testing, preservative challenge tests, safety assessments, efficacy testing, and manufacturing process validation;
We strictly control and test prohibited and restricted substances in raw materials and products according to the Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics, ensuring all parameters comply with regulatory standards;
In accordance with ISO/TR 18811 Guidelines on the Stability Testing of Cosmetic Products, the Guidelines for the Stability Test of Pharmaceutical Raw Materials and Preparations in the 2025 edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China, and the General Principles for Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials, we carry out stability and compatibility assessment and research for products with different characteristics.
Safety and efficacy testing is integrated throughout the entire R&D lifecycle—from raw materials and packaging to semi-finished and finished products—ensuring that the products delivered to consumers are both safe and effective.
