Tangyuan, A Sweet Welcome to the Festival
Each bite of tangyuan (glutinous rice ball) is a moment of sweetness. The joy of the Lantern Festival begins with a bowl of warm, sweet and soft tangyuan. At the event site, employees lined up to get their tangyuan, feeling the warmth and well-wishes from the company. At this moment, we were not just colleagues but families enjoying wonderful time together.
Lantern Riddles, A Fun Way to Pass on Culture
A row of colorful lanterns built a long corridor full of fun, and there were riddles on the lanterns. Employees stopped and thought carefully about the wisdom between the lines. The company has also prepared lovely small gifts for everyone. Those who solved the riddles correctly were delighted to receive their prizes, while those who didn’t succeed could still pick up a small memento, keeping the happiness going.
DIY Crafts, A Warm Expression of Wishes
The event site also featured a DIY crafting area, where materials for making flower lanterns, Chinese knots, and firework twirling sticks were provided. Everyone lined up orderly to collect materials, weaving a Chinese knot in hopes of endless good fortune and luck; twisting a firework twirling stick to wish for a new year as brilliant as fireworks; making a flower lantern to illuminate the dreams and expectations of the new year. Each crafted piece demonstrated our employees’ remarkable hands-on skills and carried their love for life and expectations for the future.
The Lantern Festival, a Chinese-style romance that has been passed down for thousands of years, also marks the end of the Spring Festival. After the Lantern Festival, the Spring Festival can be said to have come to an end. With these beautiful expectations, we have stepped into a new journey.
