On May 27, the launch ceremony of Proya Cosmetics's "Love in the Frontier to Lighten up the Port" public welfare program was held at Funing No.4 Primary School in Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province. This marks the third border school supported through the initiative by the Proya Cosmetics Foundation, following previous contributions to Jigeng Township Primary School in Wuqia County and Dure Town Middle School in Fuyun County, Xinjiang.
Proya Cosmetics has been actively responding to the national call set forth in the 14th Five-Year Plan to build 100 frontier schools in border counties (regimental farms). Since 2021, the company has donated a total of RMB 2.4 million to the Shanghai Adream Charitable Foundation, supporting comprehensive upgrades to border schools. Efforts include the creation of "Dream Classrooms", teacher training programs, and student study tours, systematically driving improvements in both infrastructure and teaching quality, and promoting equitable development in compulsory education.
In 2023, Proya Cosmetics launched its first "Love in the Frontier, Schools at Border" project at Dure Town Middle School in Fuyun County, marking the beginning of its commitment to borderland education. In 2024, the program expanded to China's westernmost school, Jigeng Township Primary School in Wuqia County, further deepening Proya Cosmetics's philanthropic impact in remote regions. Now, with the official launch of the initiative at Funing No. 4 Primary School, Proya Cosmetics's efforts to support border education have reached across the northwest and southwest frontiers of the country. Step by step, Proya Cosmetics has lit the flame of hope for borderland education through meaningful action.
